Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

Sydell Inc. ships sheep and goat equipment throughout the United States. Because many of our products are large, heavy, or oversized, shipping methods and costs vary depending on the items ordered and the delivery location.

Shipping Charges

Shipping and freight charges are based on the size and weight of the order, delivery location, and shipping method. Some larger orders may require a freight quote before the order can be finalized. Sydell will work to find a practical and cost-effective shipping option whenever possible.

Freight Deliveries

Large equipment shipped by a commercial freight carrier. The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and any information needed to complete the delivery. Some freight deliveries may require the customer to have equipment or assistance available to unload the shipment.

Delivery Routes

Sydell periodically offers free or reduced-cost delivery routes to certain areas of the country. Availability is limited and depends on truck space, routing, timing, and order size. A delivery route is not guaranteed until confirmed by Sydell. Customers may also have opportunities to pick up orders from Sydell at certain livestock shows, events, or other designated locations.

Pickup

Orders may be picked up directly from Sydell by prior arrangement. Please contact us before arriving so we can confirm that your order is ready for pickup.

Delivery Times

Shipping and delivery times vary depending on product availability, production schedules, destination, carrier availability, and delivery method. Estimated shipping or delivery dates are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by Sydell.

Inspecting Your Shipment

Please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery. Any visible shipping damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt or delivery slip before you sign for the shipment. If possible, please take photos and/or video of the damage, including the packaging and affected equipment. If damage is not noted at the time of delivery, it will affect our ability to file a freight claim. Please contact Sydell as soon as possible if your shipment arrives damaged.

Cancellations and Refused Deliveries

Orders that are already in transit cannot be canceled. If the buyer refuses delivery, the buyer will be responsible for return freight charges plus a 15% restocking fee.
