The Ritchie  2015 automatic heated waterer gives sheep and goats drinking access from two sides. Every unit sold by Sydell includes an immersion heater and self-regulating heat cable to help prevent freezing in cold weather.

The heavy-duty polyethylene body has polyurethane insulation to help keep water cool in summer and provide added protection in winter. The two-trough design fits barns, corrals, and adjoining pens. A 13-inch drinking height allows easy access for sheep and goats.

The domed cover helps discourage animals from standing or climbing on the waterer and lifts out for maintenance. Sloped trough floors direct debris toward the drain holes for cleaning. Drain plugs can also be moved to the valve chamber openings to shut off a trough temporarily during cleaning or when a pen is empty.

The waterer holds 4.2 gallons and uses a quick-refill valve to supply fresh water on demand while reducing waste. It is rated for up to 100 sheep or goats and can be used in lambing barns, kidding areas, and fence line watering setups.
