The gate can be raised to allow livestock to move forward and lowered to stop additional animals from entering the alley.

Rope-and-Pulley Operation

The rope and pulley are included with the Guillotine Gate and provide a practical way to raise and lower the gate during livestock handling.

Works with the 0965 Anti-Backup Plate

The 0985 Guillotine Gate can be used as part of a working-alley setup with the 0965 Anti-Backup Plate.

Once animals have entered the alley, the 0965 helps discourage them from backing up, allowing the Guillotine Gate to remain open when appropriate and helping maintain more consistent forward livestock movement.
