The Sydell Freestanding Add-On Lambing and Kidding Pens expand an existing Sydell freestanding lambing and kidding pen system. Built for sheep and goats, these add-on pens make it easy to create an organized row of individual maternity pens as additional lambing or kidding space is needed.

Each add-on includes a safety zone for newborn lambs and kids, outside feed and water access for the ewe or doe, and the panels, pails, brackets, and hardware needed to add another pen to the existing system.

Verified Size Options and Weights

• 0112B and 0112B-G: 6 ft x 4 ft x 3 ft 6 in; 125 lb
• 0113B and 0113B-G: 6 ft x 5 ft x 3 ft 6 in; 183 lb

Each size is available with a blue painted finish or an optional galvanized finish. Galvanized configurations require additional production time.

Designed to Expand Your Lambing and Kidding System

The 0112B / 0113B Add-On Pens connect to an existing Sydell freestanding starter setup, allowing producers to add individual maternity pens without purchasing another complete starter system. The modular design can increase lambing or kidding capacity as a flock or herd grows.

Built-In Safety Zone for Newborns

Each pen includes a designated safety zone that gives newborn lambs and kids a protected area where they can rest and move away from the adult ewe or doe while remaining close to their mother. This protected area is useful during the first days after birth for newborn resting, maternal bonding, nursing observation, and warm, dry bedding.

Feed and Water from Outside the Pen

The included 0400 Feed Front / Safety Zone Panels allow the ewe or doe to eat and drink from outside the maternity pen. This helps make feeding and watering more convenient, reduce the need to enter the pen, keep bedding cleaner and drier, and keep feed and water equipment away from the newborn resting area.
